Landlord Membership

The NSRPA will host monthly meetings that feature industry relevant topics.
We also host informal round table meetings for our members.

KISS…is our motto for membership (Keep It Simple S ;)

We are a registered nonprofit with 100% of our proceeds going towards operating expenses.

We are run 100% by volunteers.

$10.00 at the door…if you can’t afford it we won’t turn you away and its on the honor system.     No complicated memberships, obligations or memberships you pay for and never use.  Come when you want, the more the merrier.

Speakers planned for 2012 include:

Housing court judges
Housing industry attorneys who can discuss evictions, tenant rights and landlord rights, LLCs, leases and trust etc.,
Housing Inspectors, Industry professionals and long term experienced landlords.

We network and share information on contractors and life experiences.
Whether you’re an “accidental” landlord renting one unit out, or a portfolio landlord with a dozen properties, you will get value from being a member of a landlord’s association.

For only a few dollars, we give you access to all sorts of useful services and resources.

Here’s why EVERY landlord should be involved in an association:

Keeping up with the news
We make it easy because we have our finger on the pulse of what is important to owners and managers of rental properties.

Networking and support
It can be a lonely business being a landlord. Being part of a landlord group means you can network with other landlords and learn from their experiences.. Whether it’s face-to-face events or via an online forum, it’s always good to know that there are other people out there who can help and are familiar with challenges and issues that landlords face.

Resources
We can connect you with the right expertise to solve the problems that every landlord inevitably faces as some point. Whether dealing with arrears payments, a tricky tenant or having to evict someone, you can get the right advice. Other benefits can also extend to special deals and offers suited to landlords. That could be insurance or tax help. It’s not difficult to justify the expense of membership with such a wealth of opportunities.

Be part of campaigning group
With government policy changing all the time, it’s important that landlords have groups that represent them. Groups are frequently called upon by government for their views and ideas.

Landlord membership is $10.00 per meeting.  We do accept credit cards.

Benefits Of Membership

The North Shore Rental Property Association is committed to assisting, serving and educating local rental property owners and managers.
